Gator Feed's Story
It all began with 2 people, William and Patricia Ziglar, who dreamt of starting something new. They had a great vision, and a passion for agriculture nutrition. With both of their skills they built Gator Feed Company Inc. in Okeechobee, FL back in 1963. After Mrs. Patricia retired she entrusted the company to her wonderful son Tommy Ziglar. It is still a family owned company dedicated to mixing and manufacturing the best feed and minerals to accommodate all your cattle needs for over 50+ years. We enjoy servicing locally to all our ranchers. We manufacture all kinds of feed for Heifers, Bulls, Calves, Horses, Pigs, and even Goats. If you want or need a custom feed, we can do it! We are always happy to meet any of our customer's needs. Just come on by - we would love to help you in any way we can.
Types of Feed & Mineral
Mineral
We mix our own minerals to accommodate what your cows need. You can tell us what minerals your land is deficient in and we will mix a custom formula mineral just for you!!
Cow Feed
We make a high quality feed! We mainly make cow feed but, we also make feed for horses, pigs, goats, sheep, and even sometimes deer. With this service, we ensure all details are simple, seamless and handled in a timely manner. We love to customize feed to accommodate your cattles needs. Whenever you work with Gator Feed Company Inc., you can trust that you’re livestock is in great hands.
Show Feed
We take pride in making show feeds. We have several that are grand champion winners. We can custom formulate to your specifications. We not only make feed but we support our show kids and their animals!!
Horse Feed
We have several different formulas of horse feed for our ranchers but we only keep one on hand to sell to our customers. We call it our T.W.Z - this formula came straight from the Owner Mr. Tommy Ziglar. He has always fed his horses this feed and everyone especially the horses love it!
